Prospecting, outreach, and signal monitoring in one system

Warm conversations, teed up and waiting

SignalSpade does the front half of outbound. It researches each prospect, writes to that person rather than the segment, sends when they actually read, and hands them a report on their own business so they work out why they need you. Whoever closes at your company gets handed the ones who raised their hand.

What it actually does

Everything that happens before the conversation

Not an email tool with extras bolted on. Every channel a rep would work if they had the hours, plus the monitoring nobody has time for, in one system pointed at one list.

01Builds the list

Say the territory out loud

Describe who you want and where. SignalSpade finds the missing addresses and verifies every one.

02Writes to the person

Reads their LinkedIn, then writes

Builds a persona from their posts. Writes a multi-touch cadence in their language.

03Sends the email

On their clock, from your domains

Each prospect receives in their own timezone, from authenticated sending domains.

04Works LinkedIn

Connects and DMs from your account

Human-pace connections and DMs, warm, relevant, and in your voice.

05Mails the letter

Direct mail, on your letterhead

We write the letter, print it on your letterhead, and send it anywhere.

06Builds their report

A personalised report, tracked by view

We build a report just for them, branded to their own site, and track every view.

07Watches your website

Named contacts and cold companies

We identify who is visiting, flag cold companies, and pull decision-makers straight from Apollo.

08Tells you who to call

The call task writes itself

We drop a prioritised task on the right person's dashboard with the why, the context, and what to say.

The signal ledger

Every signal, weighted. Not every signal counts the same.

Each prospect carries one score, built from what they actually did and decayed over time, so last month's flurry never outranks yesterday's reply. You can change any weight. These are the defaults.

SignalWeightWhy it is worth that
Replied to your email30The only signal that proves a human read it and cared. One reply turns a prospect hot on its own.
Replied on LinkedIn25Same intent, second channel. A DM reply is a conversation you can close in.
Submitted a form on your site25They raised their hand on your ground, in their own time.
Opened their report20You built it for them and they read it. Opened three times means it is being circulated.
Accepted your connection15A real relationship signal, and the gate the follow-up DM was waiting on.
Commented on your post15Public, deliberate, and visible to their network.
Viewed a high-value page15One of the high-value pages you nominate, pricing and demo and contact by default. The pages people read when they are working out whether they can buy.
Clicked a link8Genuine interest, but one click is not a conversation.
Opened the email0Deliberately worth nothing. Scanners and Apple Mail fire the pixel on their own, so an open is logged and can still trigger a follow-up, but it never makes anyone hot.
Hot, 70+ Warm Cold

Scores decay day by day, so interest has to be recent to keep a prospect hot. Bot and scanner activity is filtered out before it ever reaches the ledger.

A good SDR does four things: builds a list, works it across every channel, notices who is paying attention, and calls the ones who are. The first three are the ones that quietly stop happening, because they are slow, and because nobody can watch a thousand inboxes at once. SignalSpade does the first three every day, on your own list, and hands the fourth to whoever makes the calls. If you have reps, they stop building lists and start having conversations. If you do not, you get the pipeline anyway. The sections below lay out what it does, the honest trade-off against the alternatives, the method that turns a cold list into booked replies, and straight answers to what buyers ask before they switch.

your team never gets to.

It researches every prospect, finds the angle, writes the sequence, and follows up for as long as it takes. Your reps get handed the people who raise their hand. If you have no reps, that is a pipeline you did not have to build.

The SignalSpade method

How a cold list becomes a booked reply

One pipeline, start to finish: find, clean, write, work, read, and act. Each step hands off to the next, and what the reporting learns feeds straight back into the top.

1FIND THE PEOPLE
  • Describe the territory out loud
  • Sourced through Apollo, backed by Hunter
  • B2B and B2C tagged on arrival
  • Your own CSVs welcome
2CLEAN THE LIST
  • Syntax and live domain checks
  • Dead domains flagged before send
  • Shared inboxes caught early
  • Sending reputation protected
3WRITE THE CADENCE
  • Shaped by company, role, and size
  • Multi-touch, not one blast reworded
  • Tokens resolve per recipient
  • Saved as a reusable template
4WORK EVERY CHANNEL
  • Email in their own timezone
  • LinkedIn invite, then the DM on accept
  • A letter on your letterhead with a QR
  • A report built for that one prospect
5READ THE RESPONSE
  • Replies, clicks, and report views
  • Named contacts back on your site
  • Anonymous companies identified
  • One weighted score per account
6ACT ON THE SIGNAL
  • Auto follow-up the moment they engage
  • LinkedIn DM queued on a click
  • A call task with the reason attached
  • The hour your market actually answers

A system, not a campaign.

Every reply teaches the model. The subject lines that got opened, the offers that pulled clicks, and the signals that turned into meetings feed back into what the AI writes next, so the fourth campaign starts from what the third one proved.

Why the system works

Not more email.
The right message, the moment it lands.

Deliverability gets you seen. Timing gets you answered. And every send teaches the next one, so the system sharpens the longer you run it.

Straight answers

The 13 questions buyers ask before they change outbound systems

Real answers to what people actually weigh, written to be useful whether you read them here or an AI assistant reads them to you.

We already have a sales team. What does this do for them?

It takes the part of the week nobody was hired for. No rep joined to build lists, research companies, write the fourth follow-up, or check whether anyone opened anything. SignalSpade does that continuously and hands each rep the people who actually engaged, with the reason attached and the call task already prioritised. Reps keep the conversations, the relationships, and the close. What changes is how many of their hours go into talking to interested people.

And if we do not have a sales team?

Then you are the one who closes, and the system does everything up to that point. You get a warm pipeline instead of a to-do list, and the calls it raises are the only outbound work left on your plate.

Is this an email tool?

No. Email is one of four channels it works. The same sequence can send the email, request the LinkedIn connection, fire the DM the moment they accept, generate a physical letter on your letterhead with a tracked QR code, and build a personalised report for that one prospect. On top of that it watches your website, scores every signal, and raises the call task. It is closer to a sales team than to a sending tool.

Does it make the calls for me?

No, and it does not pretend to. It decides who is worth calling, creates the task with the person and the reason attached, prioritises it by how warm they are right now, and shows which hour of the day your market actually answers. The call belongs to whoever owns the relationship.

Why do email opens score zero?

Because a pixel is not a person. Security scanners and Apple Mail Privacy Protection fire opens on their own, so treating them as intent makes cold prospects look hot. Opens are still logged on the timeline and can still trigger a follow-up, including a rule that fires on the third open, but they add nothing to the score. Replies are worth 30, and one of them turns a prospect hot on its own.

How long before cold outreach actually produces replies?

Two to four weeks of that is domain warmup, which gates how fast you can safely send. Sending hard on a cold domain is the single fastest way to end up in spam. Once you are at volume, the first replies usually arrive inside the first few sends, and the system keeps sharpening as the scoring and reporting learn what works on your market.

Will this put my main domain at risk?

No. Cold volume runs on separate sending domains that we register, authenticate with DKIM, SPF, and DMARC, and warm up before they carry traffic. We register and warm as many as your volume needs. Your primary domain keeps its reputation.

Do you write the copy, or do I?

Both are supported. You can write it yourself, with the AI drafting a cadence per prospect that you edit before it sends. Or we write it, test it, and keep rewriting the parts the reporting says are holding replies back. Most engagements start with us writing and hand the pen over once the voice is settled.

What counts as a signal, and what does the system do about it?

An open, a link click, a third open in a thread, a report view, a reply, a LinkedIn acceptance, or a return visit to your website. Each one carries a weight you configure. Cross a threshold and the prospect turns hot, and any automation you attached fires straight away: a personalised follow-up, a queued LinkedIn DM, or a prioritised call task on your dashboard.

How does the LinkedIn side stay safe?

Connection requests and DMs go out from your own account at a human pace: business hours only, a small jittered batch per run, a daily cap, and a warmup ramp that starts at five a day. A DM to someone who has not accepted yet waits in the queue until they do. We recommend LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator on any account you connect: a free account runs into LinkedIn’s own weekly invitation ceiling at about the pace we send. That is your subscription, not something the plan covers.

What happens to people who unsubscribe?

They are suppressed from email immediately and permanently, and every task and automation checks that list before it fires. An unsubscribe is an email opt-out, not a verdict on the relationship, so the prospect stays workable by phone, LinkedIn, or mail unless you say otherwise.

Can my team share the same pipeline without doubling up?

Yes. Everyone works the same prospects and every manual touch is attributed by name, so the timeline reads as a person rather than a mystery. Tasks are prioritised by how warm the prospect is right now.

Who owns the lists, the domains, and the data?

You do. The prospects, the sending domains, and the engagement history are yours, and they stay yours.
